Grade 5/6S’s Class Blog for 2008

Tribes is a cooperative learning process that students in Grade 5/6S have undertaken. They have learnt about the four Tribes agreements and model these agreements in their interactions with other students. The agreements are as follows:

1. Mutual respect
2. Attentive listening
3. Personal best
4. Appreciations/ No put-downs.

Students have been placed in tribes which are groups of 6 or 7 students. Students work on Tribes on a regular basis and complete projects together. One of the first projects they enjoyed completing was designing thier Tribal flag. Check out the photos of the completed Tribal flags.
